Hey there!
I am new to this forum, but not to weight loss. I currently work as a personal trainer in Canada. And would love to hear about peoples weight loss struggles. I would be glad to give you tips and easy things you can do to lose weight. I can also help you make wise food choices that will help you burn more fat! Another thing, i would love to know is: what can your trainer do to make your workouts more fun???

I have been a member of other fitness forums and this site has given me excellent advice. I have lost 10 lbs since following bobs advice and i can not thank him enough. Great to have another trainer on the forums to help.

The best way to lose weight is to reduce calories and increase calorie expenditure. Do you mean the best exercise, diet, or both?

Definitely, the best way to lose weight is the combination of proper diet and regular exercise.

I write some tips for weight loss:-
First of all neglect all the fat and oily foods items,
Use vegetables and fruits mostly instead of eating meat, fish, chicken or fast foods,
Do exercise regularly for 30 mints,
Go on walk for 1 km and increase in with the passage of time,
If you smoking, then avoid it,
Drink water mostly in a day about 8 to 10 glasses

what kind of food is to be avoided in our diet in order to lose weight yet gain enough amount of minerals?

Take with proper diet (water and food) and regular exercise you can decrees your extra weight and you maintain your health/fitness.

Physical activity prevent you from diseases, help in weight lose and weight managment and better sleep,

Here are some simple weight loss tips which I use to follow:
1. Drink plenty of water everyday
2. Avoid oily foods
3. Drink green tea
4. Eat healthy fruits and vegetables
5. Avoid flour food stuffs like buns and bread
6. Do regular exercise
