My sister has been diagnosed with severe rheumatoid arthritis. She is only 18. She is unable to hold a pencil for more than a few seconds. She can't even type and found it difficult to sleep at night. She would often look at her swollen hands and cry. The rheumatologist prescribed some immunosuppressive drugs. So far, she has managed to avoid serious bone deformation. She also took Prednisone since the diagnosis. But, nothing seemed effective. One of our family friends suggested taking treatment for osteoarthritis from Toronto. The treatment over there makes use of medical cannabis. Is medical cannabis harmful to health? I am hearing about this treatment for the first time. Please share some insights.
