  1. The addiction of nicotine slowly damages the every organ of the body. Smoking is well known as health disaster activity, which is responsible for the cancer, respiratory diseases, heart problems and untimely death. We all know that smoking is a bad addiction, which contains nicotine that is addictive in nature. It is very difficult or impossible to quit smoking due to the addictive nature of nicotine found in tobacco. The death rates around the world are climbing day by day due to smoking-related illnesses. This bad addiction is not only affecting the health of smokers, but also increase the risk of health problems in family members, coworkers and others. This is known as passive or secondhand smoking, in which non smokers take breathe around smokers. Health Problems Associated with Nicotine Addiction There are millions of people around the world enjoying the cigarettes and other forms of tobacco like cigars, pipe tobacco and chewing tobacco. All these forms of tobacco hold the addictive drug known as nicotine. Here are the lists of health problems, which are associated with nicotine addiction. Weak Immune system Healthy immune system protects your body from the attack of infection and viral diseases. But nicotine addiction increases the risk of respiratory infections by compromises the immune system. In addition, this bad addiction enhances the risk of various autoimmune disorders like rheumatoid arthritis and Crohn’s disease. Decreased Bone Density There is a strong relationship between tobacco and decreased bone density, as per research results. Adopting unhealthy lifestyle and tobacco addiction increases the risk of osteoporosis, it is a bone related disorder experienced by the old aged peoples. Quitting smoking is a good idea to reduce the risk of osteoporosis. Bone loss is a common problem of aged peoples but it is mostly experienced by women and men who smoke regularly. Heart and Blood Vessels Smoking increases the risk of heart related health problems and also damage the blood vessels. Heart attack, atherosclerosis and high blood pressure are common health problems contributed by regular smoking. Apart from that, reduced blood supply, chest pain and PAD (Peripheral arterial disease) are also experienced by men and women who smoke regularly. Lungs and Breathing Problems There is no doubt that smoking increases the risk of shortness of breath and scars your lungs. Here are the slits of breathing and lungs diseases promoted by smoking addiction such as COPD, Emphysema, chronic bronchitis, pneumonia, asthma and tuberculosis. Impact on Vision It is observed that smoking has bad impact on the vision and increases the risk of eye related disorders such as optic nerve damage, cataract. In short, smoking slowly kills your vision and can contribute premature blindness. Cancers We all know that smoking affects the whole body, but its various chemicals increase the risk of cancers. Normally lung cancer is a common form of cancer, which is experienced by people who smoke cigarettes.
